Chapter 2. Composition of watches

A, movement (domestic or imported)

B, watchcase (including table cover, bottom cover)

C, strap (metal or leather)

D, dial (copper, aluminium, paper)

E, rear cover (stainless steel)

F, hand, table etc.

(A) movement

Movement is the most important part of watches, watches are the "heart", and its quality is good or bad, determines the quality of watches, good quality, select the core movement, for product quality is essential. Japan's original CITIZEN mechanical automatic movement, its product failure rate of only 5 per 1000, the daily error of + 15 seconds: domestic fully automatic mechanical movement, its product failure rate of 7 per 1000, and the daily error of + 30 seconds. CITIZEN quartz movement is the most widely used movement for many watch manufacturers at home and abroad. The product failure rate is only 3 per thousand, and the monthly error is + 30 seconds. CITIZEN movement in many brands of movement, it with moving characteristics and excellent accuracy to win international and domestic markets alike. In recent years, the quality of the machine made in China has been continuously improved, and the quality is relatively stable.

(B) watchcase

At present, the domestic market case by shell, copper alloy, steel, tungsten steel shell shell.

1. Alloy shell: Generally speaking, the processing technology is simple, the production cycle is short, the output is large, the price is low, and the development in recent years is relatively rapid. But because of its water resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and many other aspects of the lack of large celebration activities rarely used, generally used in beer, beverages and other aspects of the promotion. It belongs to middle and low class watches.

2, shell: the shell has the advantages of easy processing, beautiful appearance, good waterproof performance, surface wear and corrosion resistance and other advantages. Many manufacturers use them more. Its moderate price is also its advantage. Belongs to the high, middle class watches.

3: Generally speaking, steel processing complex, production of small, the price is high, its performance is better than that of alloy shell and shell, generally used for high-grade electronic watches and mechanical or automatic mechanical watches. It belongs to high-end watches.

4, tungsten steel shell: machining difficult, not easy to wear, and with a sapphire watch, Japan movement, tungsten steel watchband. This watch is usually a high-end electronic watch.

(C) watchband

The selection of the watchband should be matched with the case. Choose what kind of material is the watch case and choose what kind of watch band. Except for one case, the case of any material can match the leather strap, and the effect is ideal.

(D) dial

The dial material is made of copper, aluminum, paper and so on. For a watch, the design of the dial is also very important, in our industry, the dial is called "the face of the pan", as if a person's face is as important. The same case, with different patterns and materials of the dial, can achieve different results.

(E) back cover

The back cover of the watch is used for fixing the movement, dustproof, waterproof and so on. Mostly made of stainless steel. The back can be etched out of text and pattern, and it has three assembly methods with the watch case.

1, close directly to the case according to the cover (on time) (less waterproof)

2. The lid and the back cover are ribbed and screwed (waterproof)

3, rose case and cover with rose fixed, generally seen in square watchcase (waterproof strong)
