Do quartz watches need no care and maintenance without adjusting the time?

- Mar 28, 2019-

The unavoidable problem with quartz watches is changing batteries. A friend of mine told me a few days ago that he bought a watch online and found that it was out of fashion when he arrived. At the first time, he was angry with the buyer. After all, he was full of expectation that he could bring a new watch with him, and he got a bad comment. Actually, don't worry when the quartz watch doesn't go. It may be out of power.

Batteries in quartz watches generally have a life of 2-3 years. Quartz watches will be equipped with batteries when they are manufactured, so they may be used up during transportation or sales. So when the quartz watch just bought doesn't go, it's likely to run out of electricity.

How to judge whether the watch battery is running out? The battery is about to run out, and there will be a four-second hop. If the watch is out of power, please send it to repair immediately to remove the battery, so as to avoid the leakage of the battery to corrode the machine core and the dial.

People need to be maintained in their old age, let alone watches. For the maintenance of quartz watch batteries, I have a few points to add here.

1. For students who don't know when they need to change batteries, check the number of dry stickers on their watches and mark the date of changing batteries.

2. Packing box can protect watch from being broken or collided. It is also suggested that when you do not wear a watch for a long time, you should form the habit of putting the watch in the box after it is clean, which can greatly reduce the risk of watch damage. And away from camphor pills, insecticides and other chemical drugs.

3. If the quartz meter is not used for a long time, please go to the maintenance station to take out the battery first, so as to avoid the leakage of battery power and damage the machine core. If the quartz meter is not used for a long time, the battery can be pulled out to the first or second gear (stop running in seconds), so as to save electricity.

Don't neglect the quartz watch because it is rough. It also needs your careful care.
